Despite the loss, Mt. Pleasant still got an impressive performance from Ashley Turner, who posted 18 points and six boards. Those 18 points gave Turner a new career-high. Sadie Sandrell was another key player, putting up five points and 12 rebounds.
Battle Creek's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-20. As for Mt. Pleasant, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
