Saginaw had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. On Thursday, they narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Glenn 22-20. Glenn can consider this payback for the 14-24 loss they dealt Saginaw the last time the teams encountered one another. This was the first game for both teams, giving Saginaw a 1-0 record and starting Glenn off at 0-1.
Next week, Saginaw take on Powers Catholic at 7:00 PM. As for Glenn, they will face of against Cadillac.
