The Hawkins Hawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They strolled past Locke with points to spare, taking the game 82-66. With that win, Hawkins brought their scoring average up to 51.2 points per game.
De'Meiko Crawford was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Hawkins' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Boston, who scored 14 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Hawkins and bumps their season record up to 7-10. As for Locke, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.
Hawkins' road trip will continue as they head out to face View Park at 6:30 p.m. on January 12th. As for Locke, they will be playing at home against Harbor Teacher at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
