Basketball Recap: Bible Baptist Christian Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Bible Baptist Christian waltzed into their matchup on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Peoples Baptist Academy Knights 81-46. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Bible Baptist Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trent Hamilton, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Hamilton's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Logan Hamilton, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 18 points and five boards.

Bible Baptist Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Peoples Baptist Academy only posted six assists.

Despite the defeat, Peoples Baptist Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Joshua Hale posted nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Hale is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Aaron Cramer was another key player, putting up 12 points and six boards.

Bible Baptist Christian's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.5 points. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.

Bible Baptist Christian has already played their next game, a 71-19 victory against Grace Christian on the 28th. As for Peoples Baptist Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-67 win against Trinity Christian School of Griffin on the 28th.
