Center Line waltzed into their contest  on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Lincoln Abes by a score of  28-20. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Abes, too.
 Masai Ali produced another solid  effort rushing for 142 yards and two  TDs while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Center Line was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 213  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 157  rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Center Line's record now sits at 7-1. As for Lincoln,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-6.
 Looking ahead, Center Line will challenge Lumen Christi Catholic on Saturday. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to  take on  Central  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Trail Blazers' defense has only allowed 12  points per game  this season, so the Abes' offense will have their work cut out for them.
