The Weston Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Immaculate, falling 56-29. While losing is never fun, Weston can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while Immaculate is ranked 21st).
Immaculate got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kendra Foy out in front who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Callie Miller, who scored 15 points.
Weston's loss was their seventh straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-8. As for Immaculate, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
Weston will head out on the road to face off against Pomperaug at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Immaculate won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ludlowe at 4:00 p.m. on January 20th.
