2A District 6 recap Nov. 7, 2012
Vian extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 6 this week by beating Panama, 54-0. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Wolverines.
Vian took down the Razorbacks 54-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Rylee Simon threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Brandon Tyler's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Rowdy Simon chipped in 78 yards. Tre Locust helped Vian's passing attack out by catching one ball for 32 yards.
Eric Casey was the best wideout in the league this week as the Wolverines bested Panama. Casey racked up four receptions for 145 yards.
Pocola's Johnny Satlerfield and Beau Kerbow have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Satlerfield has thrown for 688 yards this season, while Kerbow, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 60 catches for 550 yards. Vian's Simon leads the league in rushing yards with 817.
The Wolverines led 2A District 6 in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Brandon Ellis' team. Simon in the win.
