After losing to the Bath Fighting Bees the last time they met, the Lansing Christian Pilgrims decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Lansing Christian managed a 54-50 win over Bath on Wednesday.
David Hall was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Lansing Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Damesworth, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Lansing Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Bath, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Lansing Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Laingsburg at 7:00 p.m. on January 10, 2024. Bath will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hastings at 7:05 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
