The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Orange Lutheran came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while Pacifica Christian/Orange County is ranked 299th).
Logan Stewart continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Pacifica Christian/Orange County, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Stewart is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Michael Noel, who scored 11 points along with 5 steals.
Orange Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Pacifica Christian/Orange County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.
Orange Lutheran is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Palos Verdes at 6:30 p.m. on December 5th. Palos Verdes has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 440 points over their last seven matchups. As for Pacifica Christian/Orange County, they will take on Foothill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
