In what's become a running theme this season, the Tahoma Bears gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Decatur 95-52 at home. Given Tahoma's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Golden Gators are ranked 254th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tahoma had a senior duo take command as Dalton Brown scored 26 points and Adam Davis scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Stephens, who scored 14 points.
Despite the loss, Decatur still got an impressive performance from Jaliel Anderson, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Joshua Carter was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Tahoma is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Decatur, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
