The Mount de Sales Academy Sailors had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 45-31 win over St. Paul's Girls. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Mount de Sales Academy also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Shelby Lewis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ella Powers, who scored eight points along with five steals.
Mount de Sales Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for St. Paul's Girls, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road.
