Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atlantic Shores Christian). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 50-22 win over the Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Seahawks considering their 12-point performance the matchup before.

Although Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Quentin Swain, Bruce Phillips, and Carter Garland.

With the victory, Atlantic Shores Christian broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4. As for Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Atlantic Shores Christian will face off against Virginia Episcopal School at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy, they will square off against Parry McCluer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
