Baseball Recap: Sheridan's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Sheridan had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the El Dorado Wildcats a 14-0 shutout. Considering the Yellowjackets have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sheridan's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for El Dorado, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Sheridan will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Farmington at 1:15 p.m. on March 29th. As for El Dorado, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hot Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
