Falcon is 0-4 against Ponderosa since March of 2022 but things could change on Saturday. The Falcons will look to defend their home field against the Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Falcon sitting on ten straight wins and Ponderosa on six.

He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ethan Gentz, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Falcon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in 12 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, while Ponderosa put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Arapahoe. The Mustangs blew past the Warriors 10-0. With that win, the Mustangs brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Nolan Van Fleet and Beckham Davis did most of the damage at the plate: Van Fleet went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base, while Davis got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Van Fleet has become a key player for Ponderosa: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 3-4 otherwise. Jackson Phillips was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Falcon's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Ponderosa, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Falcon hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .506. However, it's not like Ponderosa struggles in that department as they've averaged .332. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
