Crestwood had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They secured a 54-48 W over the Timberland Wolves.

Crestwood had a senior duo take command as London Vaughn went 6 of 9 on her way to 19 points in addition to seven steals and six boards and Saniya Williams posted 20 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Williams has scored at least a third of Crestwood's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonee McClain, who had four points and nine boards.

Crestwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Timberland's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zion Prioleau, who put up 20 points. Another player making a difference was Kennahdi Murrell, who posted 12 points.

Crestwood's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7. As for Timberland, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Crestwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-48 defeat against Blythewood on the 28th. As for Timberland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 45-37 loss against Laurence Manning Academy on the 28th.
