Williamsburg Academy can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Carolina Academy with a sharp 74-49 win. The score was close at the half, but Williamsburg Academy pulled away in the second half with 48 points.
Conrad Balder was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Wes Smith, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Christian Academy didn't have too much trouble with Florence Christian at home on Thursday as they won 53-36.
Williamsburg Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
Williamsburg Academy was dealt a bruising 74-22 defeat at the hands of Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Williamsburg Academy was down 43-11.
