Softball Recap: Pleasanton Has No Trouble Against Randolph

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Natalia, Pleasanton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Randolph Ro-Hawks as the Pleasanton Eagles made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Eagles have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pleasanton pushed their record up to 10-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs over those games. As for Randolph, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Pleasanton will take on Caney Creek in a tournament on Friday. As for Randolph, they will be taking part in a tournament against Poth at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
