The El Toro Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. The matchup between El Toro and Price wasn't particularly close, with El Toro falling 61-46.
Aidan McMichael and Christian Jimenez certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. McMichael scored nine points, while Jimenez scored 12 points. Jimenez scored a full 26.1% of El Toro's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
El Toro has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Price, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5-1.
El Toro won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Orangewood Academy at 12:30 p.m. on December 27th. Orangewood Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Price will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Del Lago Academy on January 6, 2024.
