Amplus Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cody Clark, who scored 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Clark has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Falna Ahferom, who scored 15 points.
Amplus Academy's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-9. As for Southeast Career Tech, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.
Amplus Academy will take on Somerset Sky Pointe at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Somerset Sky Pointe is ranked 69th, while Amplus Academy is ranked 93rd). As for Southeast Career Tech, they will head out on the road to challenge Rancho at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
