It was a good run, but Selma unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a blow against the Oak Mountain Eagles, falling 51-24.

It was another big night for Caroline Kester, who posted 22 points for Oak Mountain. Kester has become a key player for the Eagles: the team is undefeated when she posts at least 20 points, but 5-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Nylah Cook, who scored six points.

Selma's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Oak Mountain, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Selma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-18 defeat against Homewood on the 22nd. As for Oak Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 39-35 loss against Springville on the 22nd.
