West Branch waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Harmony Area Owls as they made off with a 15-5 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by eight runs or more this season.

Caleb Hudson made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. Hudson was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Coby Kephart was excellent, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Logan Liptak, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

West Branch kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

West Branch's record now sits at 8-4. As for Harmony Area, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

West Branch has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 loss against Southern Huntingdon County on the 28th. As for Harmony Area, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Penns Manor on the 28th.
