On Friday Deering take on South Portland at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-35, which was the final score in Deering's tilt against Bonny Eagle last Friday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: South Portland lost to Sanford, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 7-46.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
