There's no place like home for Central of Clay County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Sylacauga Aggies on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Volunteers: when they faced off against the Aggies last Tuesday, they had to take a 8-4 defeat.

Central of Clay County's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-11. As for Sylacauga, their loss dropped their record down to 13-12.

Coming up, Central of Clay County will be playing at home against Briarwood Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sylacauga, they are taking a road trip to challenge Benjamin Russell at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
