Isaiah Morgan Delivers Best Effort of Season
Boron was led to victory by Isaiah Morgan, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Morgan rushed for 216 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 56 yards.

Robert Evans's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his seventh-straight game with 100+ rushing yards. He rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.
Unfortunately for Desert, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Evans. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Evans saw the Scorpions), he rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.

Kern Valley was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Daniel Hinkey did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Hinkey as he made 21 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended a pass.
Kern Valley's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-5. Hinkey and Kern Valley will look to defend their home field on Friday against Boron at 7:00 p.m.
