The Shadow Ridge Stallions were the 62-28 winner over the Gila Ridge Hawks when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Shadow Ridge took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gila Ridge.
Several Stallions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Riley Blankenship, who scored 10 points. Another player making a difference was Aalayah Ramirez, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Shadow Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Gila Ridge, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Shadow Ridge will be playing at home against Willow Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gila Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against West Point at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Point is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
