Menomonee Falls faced Hamilton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Phoenix blew past the Chargers 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Phoenix as they're now sitting on five straight.

While Menomonee Falls won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.

Cassie Bruns was the offensive standout of the match as she had ten digs and two aces.

Bruns wasn't the only good servers: Menomonee Falls was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hamilton only served three.

Menomonee Falls' record now sits at 27-8. As for Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 32-8.

Menomonee Falls wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Germantown on the 16th. As for Hamilton, they will look to defend their home court on the 23rd against Sheboygan North at 7:00 p.m.
