Lakeville South put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the Apple Valley Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Lakeville South pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 8.0 runs this season. As for Apple Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Lakeville South and Apple Valley will both be playing Farmington the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Eagles will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
