 Despite the  defeat, Arapahoe saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Suttyn Shafer  had 20  digs and one  assist. Shafer is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last six games she's  played.
 Maywood/Hayes Center found their leader in freshman  Lanie Soundy, who  had 18  assists and nine  digs.  Ensley Lawless also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
Arapahoe's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Maywood/Hayes Center, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record  this season.
 Arapahoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maywood/Hayes Center, they have already played their next contest,  a  3-0  defeat against Southwest on the 28th.
