Several Cougars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was TYRONE NASIBIAN-WINBORN, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was CHRISTOPHER GARCIA, who scored 3 points.
Lake Balboa College Prep struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Panorama racked up 11.
Panorama can attribute much of their success to Christian Vargas, who scored 15 points. Vargas has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Eduardo Munguia was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals.
Lake Balboa College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Panorama, they pushed their record up to 1-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Lake Balboa College Prep will take on Valor Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Panorama, they will head out on the road to face off against Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
