Mariyon Sloan Goes Supernova in Shafter Victory
Starting off the list is Shafter's Mariyon Sloan, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Sloan rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

Wasco now has a losing record at 3-4. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers challenges Taft at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jace Demacabalin continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his tenth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 119 rushing yards. He rushed for 194 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.8 yards per carry.
If the past is any indication, Demacabalin could be in store for another big game when he takes on Shafter on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Demacabalin saw the Generals), he rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns.
