The Ramona Bulldogs were the 49-0 winner over the Del Norte Nighthawks when they last played one another back in November of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the pair wasn't particularly close, with Ramona falling 42-28. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Leading Del Norte to victory were Ty Olsen and Jack Schneider. Olsen picked up 189 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Schneider threw for 309 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. Olsen's longest reception was for an incredible 90 yards.
Ramona's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Del Norte, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.
Ramona will be playing at home against Fallbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Del Norte does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
