The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Bennett, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Heritage Academy sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-54 victory over Phoenix Country Day on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Heritage Academy.
Veritas Prep's win lifted them to 4-1 while Gilbert Classical Academy's defeat dropped them down to 0-4.
