This season hasn't been kind to the Marbury Bulldogs, who are still winless after their seventh game. They took a 62-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Prattville Christian Academy on Friday. That's two games in a row now that Marbury has lost by exactly 12 points.
Despite the loss, Marbury saw an underclassman step up: Jamar Brown scored 18 points along with 4 steals. DJ Graham was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Marbury's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Prattville Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Pelham the next time they take the court. Marbury will host Pelham at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Prattville Christian Academy will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
