This season hasn't been kind to The Porter Cowboys, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They were outmatched by Flour Bluff at home and fell 57-0. Leading Flour Bluff to victory were Cameran Dickson and Jayden Paluseo. Dickson picked up 73 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Paluseo threw for 128 yards and three touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. Paluseo hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for five straight games.
Porter's loss was their 15th straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. As for Flour Bluff, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Porter will take on Mercedes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flour Bluff, they will look to defend their home field on November 3rd against Gregory-Portland at 7:00 p.m.
