Rockford East lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aubree Erickson, who scored six points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Rockford East struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Boylan Catholic racked up 20 assists.
Boylan Catholic's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for Rockford East, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
