Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was DJ Caffey, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Justin Godwin, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Chilton County dropped their record down to 13-15 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Benjamin Russell, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
