After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln High, Standing Bear was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Grizzlies who were credited with the victory. The Standing Bear Grizzlies got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Lincoln Northwest Falcons's six. Even though Standing Bear got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Landon Arnold was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.
Calvin Schwartz and Gage Lepin scored both of Standing Bear's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
