Dow were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the contest and then some with a 49-8 win on Friday over Saginaw. Followers of Dow probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories. The match brought Dow to 4-2 and dropped Saginaw to a mirror-image 2-4.
Next week Dow take on Bay City Western at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: those two teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Saginaw, they will face off against Mt. Pleasant.
