Riddle had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They lost to North Douglas by a decisive 44-60 margin. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Riddle off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving North Douglas a 1-0 record.
Riddle will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Mapleton at 7:00 PM. North Douglas will look to defend their home turf next week against Bonanza at 7:00 PM.
