Jariel Cobb Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Reidsville got the W thanks in part to Jariel Cobb playing the best football he has all season. Cobb rushed for 227 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 52 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making three total tackles.
Unfortunately for Walkertown, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Cobb. Cobb rushed for 77 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Wolfpack duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kelly Posts Huge Game in 41-26 Loss
Cam Kelly continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his eighth-straight game with at least 103 rushing yards. He rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns.
Walkertown's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. Kelly and Walkertown will head out on the road to square off against McMichael at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Amare Mitchell Leads North Forsyth over T.W. Andrews
Amare Mitchell produced his most outstanding game to date while leading North Forsyth to the win on Friday. Mitchell rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 94 yards and two touchdowns.
North Forsyth's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5. Mitchell and North Forsyth will square off against Morehead at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

West Stokes found a leader in Aydden Cherry as the squad took down McMichael on Friday. Cherry turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 87 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries.
West Stokes pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Cherry and West Stokes will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Walkertown at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.
