 Lapeer Lakers Homeschool's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Aiden Lomasney, who  went 7 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points plus six  rebounds, and   Reed Cotton, who  went 6 for 14 en route to 21 points plus two  steals. With that strong performance,  Lomasney is now averaging an impressive 17.5 points per game. Another player making a difference was  John Hayse, who  scored seven points along with six  rebounds and two  blocks.
 Meanwhile,  a  win for Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers just wasn't in the cards  on Tuesday as the  team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They took a  blow against Capital HomeSchool, falling  61-24. The Mustangs were down  47-16 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
 Despite the  loss, Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers had strong showings from  Brendan Redmond, who  earned 14 points plus five  rebounds, and  Ethan Neuhaus, who  had four points.
 Lapeer Lakers Homeschool pushed their record up to 3-1 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Mid-Michigan HomeSchoolers, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
