Ozarks recap November 13, 2013
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Waynesville, who took down 65th ranked Lebanon, 32-24.
Kickapoo extended the longest winning streak in Ozarks this week by beating Nixa, 45-14. This was the team's 11th consecutive win.
Parkview's dynamic duo of Anthony Gilliland and Connor Ratcliff proved to be unstoppable against Willard, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Gilliland threw for 145 yards and 1 touchdown and Ratcliff had 97 yards receiving. Chaviz Nguyen helped Parkview's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 48 yards.
Luke Winfrey was a passing and rushing force as the Yellowjackets fell to the Tigers. He completed 16 passes for 229 yards and also ran for 16 yards. Winfrey's favorite target this week was Kenshay Cunningham, who caught 2 passes for 73 yards.
Camdenton's Bo Dean and Kullen Carlock led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dean has thrown for 1,861 yards this season, while Carlock has 73 catches for 1,019 yards. Elza Evans from Lebanon leads the league in rushing with 1,496 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Kickapoo takes on second place Camdenton. Last week, Kickapoo topped the Eagles, while the Lakers defeated Waynesville.
Going into this week's game against Parkway Central, Camdenton's Dean needs 139 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
So far this year, he has garnered 64 catches for 948 yards.
Jeff Shore's team took down Rick Vernon's team 35-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
