Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hillcrest). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Vista del Lago Ravens 36-0. The high-scoring effort was just what the Trojans needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Hillcrest's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6-1. As for Vista del Lago, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hillcrest is set to square off against their familiar foe Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Vista del Lago will take on rival Canyon Springs at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Ravens' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
