Cascade have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Council on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses for Cascade and five for Council.
Cascade didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 32-38 to Pine Eagle three weeks ago. Cascade got a solid performance out of junior Cody Moosman, who picked up 63 yards on the ground and threw 2 TDs; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-50, which was the final score in Council's tilt against Garden Valley last Friday. Council were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-30.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Council's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Cascade defensive front that amassed four sacks against Pine Eagle, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
