Mary Persons' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dee Grier led the charge by scoring 12 points along with 6 assists. Malaki Knight was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 9 rebounds.
Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mary Persons, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Northeast will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 2nd. One thing working in Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Mary Persons, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Tattnall Square Academy at 7:30 p.m.
