Potts Camp hasn't had much luck against Thrasher recently, but that could start to change  on Saturday. Potts Camp will be playing at home against Thrasher  at 12:00  p.m. Potts Camp is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last eight games.
On Friday, Potts Camp made easy work of Strayhorn  and carried off  a  9-1 win. Considering the Cardinals have won seven matchups by more than seven  runs this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Alyssa Clifton was a major factor no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs and four  RBI.

 In other batting news,  Zoey Clark was  excellent,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in February of 2024.  Charlie Holmes was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  triple and one  RBI.
 Potts Camp  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Thrasher can  bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Friday. Everything went their way against Shannon as Thrasher made off with  a  16-6 victory. The Rebels not only won  on Friday, but they posted their biggest win  since March 3rd.
  Brookelyn Roberts was a standout: she got on base  in all five of her plate appearances with one  home run, four  runs,  and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Olivia Robinson, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  double.
 Potts Camp's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Thrasher, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.
Saturday's   game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Potts Camp has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .625. However, it's not like Thrasher struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .463. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
