The Bothell/Inglemoor Cougars will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Snohomish Panthers  at 1:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Bothell/Inglemoor is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Everett. Bothell/Inglemoor skirted past Everett  4-2. The  win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Snohomish never got on the board in their matchup on Tuesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Inglemoor on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Vikings as they made off with  a  14-2 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Panthers' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Abby Edwards made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out 13 batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. Edwards was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Hannah Siegler and  Amelie Lopez did most of the damage at the plate:  Siegler  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4, while  Lopez  went 2-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  runs  Siegler has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Emery Post, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Snohomish  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Inglemoor only posted  an  OBP of  .273.
 Bothell/Inglemoor was able to grind out a solid  win over Snohomish when the teams last played  back in March of 2024, winning  5-2. Will Bothell/Inglemoor repeat their success,  or does  Snohomish have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
