Brazosport scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat La Marque 93-44 on the road. Brazosport has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 27 points or more this season.
Brazosport's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Deja El Amin, who dropped a triple-double on 35 points, ten rebounds, and 11 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points El Amin has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ahmasia Brown, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Stafford suffered their biggest defeat since November 18, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against Bay City, falling 49-21.
Brazosport's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Stafford, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
