After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kanab, Water Canyon was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Pinnacle Panthers as they made off with a 25-15 victory. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Esther Nielson was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with eight stolen bases, four runs, and three RBI. Those runs marked the first that she has scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tammara Johnson, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with 11 stolen bases and four runs.
