Talihina extended the longest winning streak in A District 6 this week by beating Central, 51-20. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
5-foot-9 quarterback Aaron Busch of the Tigers is the league leader in passing yards this season with 853. He has also thrown eight touchdowns. On the ground, Talihina's Clark Austin has rushed for 571 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Trevor Crone. The Talihina star has 21 catches for 323 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Kelly Gravitt's team takes on Canadian. At the moment, the Golden Tigers are in first, while the Cougars are in fourth.
Gore led A District 6 in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on Quinton.
